John Payne

 John Payne is the newest member of Brooks Associates.  John brings 25+ years of Sales, Marketing and Management experience to our organization.  John's diverse career has allowed him to translate his sales and management skills into several different market sectors.  This includes substantial experience in the Supply Chain, Computer Hardware, Computer Software, eCommerce Development and Marketing arenas.

John was one of Dick Brooks' original clients.  In 1994 John learned the effectiveness of Sandler Training by employing it into his progressively successful career.  John earned "Rookie of the Year," two "Golden Triangle" awards, plus numerous other recognitions and achievements with Activant Solutions based in Austin, Texas.  Sandler Training enabled John to adjust his work habits and personal belief systems to make his career fun, successful and edifying.

John is active in community programs including volunteer work, active PTA member and Junior Air Force ROTC booster.  John has spent extensive time with our youth and the elderly.  John is an accomplished Toastmaster Speaker, Eagle Scout and a Licensed United Methodist Minister.  John's bi-vocational career keeps him busy but he still makes time for his wonderful wife (an accomplished corporate attorney) two college aged sons and his daughter's high school activities.

John currently attends a course of study program at Saint Paul School of Theology to accomplish one of his long term goals of becoming an ordained Minister.  John believes that you can keep a strong secular and spiritual life in balance and is most content while helping others.
